Sarah Palin speaks in complete sentences, manages not to choke on her tongue

That's a victory then, right? Right?

Sen. Biden & Gov. Palin squared off last night in one of the more anti-climactic debates in this blogger's memory. GWS wanted blood, but Biden played nice. As for Palin...what do you expect? As she said, she's only been at this for, like, five weeks.

Punching One's Weight

DBMIVFK has been struggling through the Dark Ages this week as GWS searches for a new computer. Apologies, faithful readers.

Tonight promises the VP debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden. GWS has just one thing to say about this debate: boxing has weight classes for a reason. Biden is Muhammad Ali, sauntering up to Palin playing Oscar De la Hoya (y'know, the boxer whose image was always a little better than his record). Biden must smell blood, and GWS hopes to see a quick knockout.

Down goes Palin! Down goes Palin!

Hahahaha, stop, stop, please, hahaha

I love how Couric can barely keep the smirk of disdain off her face. I know Joe Biden's looked like an idiot lately, but seriously, Gov. Palin. She made Katie Couric look like Edward R. Murrow.

If you haven't seen Palin's interview with Couric yet, check it out here. For Biden's inexplicable assertion that FDR got on TV in 1929 and assured people that everything would be alright, check this out. Is it just GWS, or does Biden look tired?

He has to win now, right?

GWS's favorite senior Senator from Maryland was tapped for the Democratic vice-presidential nomination. The term "experience" gets thrown around far too much, but Joe Biden's long tenure on the Foreign Relations Committee ought to balance out the intricate decision-making involved in parachuting over North Vietnam and deliver the White House for the Dems. Biden's performance in the Democratic debates had GWS swooning, and even geniuses like David Brooks think he's the man for the job.

Obama has to win now. He's got the white-haired foreign policy maven behind him, and Biden's old Dem credentials should carry Obama through the Rust Belt.

We hope.

So say we all.
